Well hey there, Faithful Music Lovers.
2011 was a hell of a year for music, and this upcoming year will be hard-pressed to top it. Each year, we SCOPErs like to tackle the challenge of picking out our favorite ten albums out of everything released and we want to share our choices with you. I know our list is being released a little behind schedule (for which I genuinely apologize. Counting these up was exhausting!). But better late than never, right?
Without further adieu, I humbly present you with SCOPE Production’s favorite albums released in 2011:
10.) Florence + The Machine - Ceremonials
9.) The Joy Formidable - The Big Roar
8.) The Black Keys -El Camino
7.) Blind Pilot - We Are The Tide
6.)?
5.)?
4.)?
3.)?
2.)?
1.)?
What do you think? Have you heard all the ones mentioned? Who was on your top 10? We want to hear from you. Luckily, we in SCOPE love to talk about music, especially our favorite albums.
It was tough to narrow down from all the different albums that got nominations from people, but these ten stood out above the rest. Over the near future, we’ll be sure to post all of the albums nominated under a series of “Honorable Mentions” posts.
Thanks for everything and here’s to a phenomenal 2012. It’s already shaping up to be pretty great. We’ll see you at the concerts.
CHECK IN TOMORROW FOR #4 AND #5!
(spoiler alert: neither is Coldpay)
Then of course you’ll love them together. Mashville has fused Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty and Brothers in one convenient album. Click the link above to download the album for free.
